I remember when I started collecting arcade games. Even though I had played them most of my life, I really didn't know the technical jargon or each component. I've compiled a very short tutorial here for newbies to quickly get up to speed on the different parts of anatomy of an arcade game. I used a Robotron as the example.

Robotron Upright Cabinet

Robotron Marquee - Usually silk-screen on glass or plexiglass and backlit

Robotron Bezel - Usually silk-screen on glass or plexiglass

Robotron Control Panel Overlay - Usually printed on 3M vinyl or lexan
